Our Client, which is the leading provider of Medical and Healthcare Services in Mississippi, is embarking on a project to replace all of its hospital medical records systems with the Epic Integrated Electronic Health Records and revenue cycle solutions.

We have been contracted to identify and provide candidates to fill a number of newly created positions over the next 90 days.
The Position: EHR Team Analyst (EPIC)
The Analyst will assist in the implementation, training, and support of the new electronic health records management system, EPIC, within the organization
Epic is a new core clinical and financial information system. In Epic, health records are comprehensive, patient-centered, and integrated for use across the continuum of care. Information flows smoothly between units and from inpatient to outpatient care. The system allows access to the same patient records from anywhere.
The EHR team will be comprised of varying levels of experience including candidates-in-training. Position duties include but are not limited to:
- Acting independently under general supervision, requiring minimum instruction and guidance
- Researching, analyzing, facilitating and implementing business flow
- Ensuring that outcomes and deliverables meet organizational goals, objectives, and quality standards
- Responsible for generating various reports
- Interacting with customers, vendors, peers, and management
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- 4 year college degree
- Heavy emphasis on academic excellence, preferring 3.5 GPA and top percentile ACT or SAT scores
- Information Technology training preferred but not absolutely required
- Superior problem solving skills, keenly intuitive, skillfully assertive
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Basic project management skills
- Ability to organize work efficiently under stress and time constraints
- Stable work history, dependable attendance record
- Smart with a great attitude and lots of aptitude for learning the skills necessary to work as part of a team
Training:
Six weeks of classroom and on the job training. Some out-of-state travel required during training period. All expenses for training are paid including becoming certified in EPIC.
Salary: Depends On Experience – Competitive
