Marketing/Administrative Coordinator 

Our client is a successful private consulting firm with a national reach.

The firm has a newly created position that blends both Marketing and Project/Office Management duties in support of both the firm’s clients and the firm’s own marketing efforts. The firm’s main office is located in the greater Jackson area and is a convenient commute to those located in Hinds, Rankin, and Madison counties. There is no travel expected with this job.

This is a great position for an experienced Marketing/Administrative candidate who enjoys having a variety of tasks throughout the work day.

This is a Temp-To-Hire position. Generous PTO and health insurance option available. This position is also eligible for the annual company bonus.

Required Education and Experience:

    • BA/BS preferred but work experience including previous military experience will be considered
    • Candidates should be comfortable working with advanced features in MS Excel. Some training will be provided, but you should have enough working knowledge of Excel to quickly be taught how to do Pivot Tables.
    • Previous experience with Salesforce and Pardot is highly preferred to other CRM experience, but all will be considered. Specific training will be provided on Salesforce and Pardot, but candidates should have a solid base of working knowledge of these types of programs

 

General tasks are outlined below.

Marketing Support (60%)

    • Using the CRM software Salesforce to promote a more efficient marketing effort for the firm. This requires daily interaction with account managers to ensure they comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for use of Salesforce. The responsibilities also include producing regular reports for management using the Salesforce report templates.
    • Using content provided by company management to schedule and implement email marketing plans in Pardot software and My Emma software.
    • Using content provided by company management to publish news and marketing updates on company website, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts.

Operations Support (25%)

    • Using Microsoft Excel to produce daily reports for clients on various communications services.
    • Updating internal databases with statistics from these client services.
    • Mastering user-friendly file databases to build lists and create demographic profiles.
    • Communicating with vendors and clients by phone and email to ensure that all deadlines are met in production schedules for client services.

General Office Administrative Duties (15%)

    • Maintaining master company travel and meetings calendar.
    • Ensuring Account Manager compliance with marketing trip reports.
    • Occasional online research.
