Our client is a well-established non-profit organization that provides comprehensive, compassionate, and confidential treatment services for professionals in Mississippi. The organization is based out of Jackson and offers treatment programs throughout Mississippi.

The focus of the Clinical Director is on administration and operations activities, not on providing counseling or therapy to patients. The Clinical Director’s role is to increase program efficiency and to ensure confidential and compassionate patient assistance and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Director will have significant responsibilities in planning, directing, and evaluating activities of patients. The director plays a prominent role in making certain patient treatments are in compliance with internal policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements.

On a typical work day, the Clinical Director may be involved in creating budget plans, reviewing patient files, drafting contingency plans, conducting quality assurance testing, managing patient billing, and arranging work schedules. The Clinical Director must attend meetings regularly with physicians, department heads, and other administrators and stakeholders.

No two days are the same, so being flexible with quick critical thinking skills is essential. The Clinical Director should have the analytical skills necessary to accurately follow the latest facility policies and legal regulations. Being detail-oriented with good organizational abilities is important to keep day-to-day clinical activities running smoothly.

Being a skilled communicator with the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various professionals, including physicians, nurses, clinicians, insurance representatives, etc. is required.

Since administrative dilemmas can occur when you least expect, the ideal candidate is equipped with the problem-solving skills to implement a creative solution that won’t compromise patient care.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum; Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of previous experience dealing with complex medical issues
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially using MS Office Suite and customized databases.
  • Must be able to maintain utmost level of confidentiality
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and participants in all circumstances
  • Strong documentation skills

  • Working with minimal supervision, you will draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
  • Investigate cases for attorneys, complete important legal research and write reports for case preparation, as well as keeping track of case documents
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients

  • Correspond with court clerks, judges, other law firms, and other legal professionals

Book-keeper – Accounts Receivabe/Payable

Our client is an established local business located in the greater Jackson area who is seeking their next Full Charge Bookkeeper.

Either a two year or four year degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required. 2+ years of recent Bookkeeping and Payroll experience is required, including 941 filings and payroll calculations rather than simply reporting payroll and time.

Candidates who have handled bookkeeping in a CPA firm are encouraged to apply. This position will require paid overtime work during tax season (January through April), so having the flexibility to work these hours is a must.

IT Help Desk Representative – 6 Month Contract 

Our client is a well-established organization based out of Jackson. They are installing a new software package across multiple devices in several campus locations in the greater Jackson area.

We are seeking to hire several experienced IT Technicians who have previously worked with multiple device installations (computers, laptops, iPads, etc.)

The project is estimated to last 6 months and is a full time (40 hours), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM position.

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– One or more years of paid job experience in the operation and/or repair of personal computing systems or equivalent certification (i.e. Net+ Certified).

– One year in position requiring contact with the public.

– A+ certification or defined path to achieve.

– Strong oral communication skills required.

– Must be able to execute responsibilities in a dynamic, sometimes stressful environment.

– Must have proficiency in at least 3 of the following areas:

  • PC repair and troubleshooting Windows Desktop OS maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Hardware peripheral repair and troubleshooting common applications

– Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, TB skin test, and either provide proof of a current flu shot or receive a flu shot upon for the position.

– Occasional travel to locations within 80 miles from Jackson is required for this position (Mileage will be reimbursed at the current government rate).
