Accounting Specialist

A successful and growing Jackson, Mississippi based company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to be responsible for financial record keeping. Working under the direction of the CFO, you will use specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures, receipts and other financial transactions.

This is a Temp-To-Hire position. Health insurance and Paid Time Off are offered by the company upon hire with them.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and postings of accounts receivable
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Assistance in collections
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years previous Accounting Specialist level experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organized
  • High school degree
  • Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus

Temporary Dental Hygienist

Jackson-Metro Area

Our client has an immediate need for a temporary Dental Hygienist who would document patient needs, deliver direct dental care, provide patient education, and develop individualized dental care plans. This employee would also participate in clinical and laboratory studies and assist in education efforts.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene school
  • Baccalaureate degree preferred
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and techniques
  • Knowledge of patient screening, charting, and medical history procedures and documentation
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Mississippi licensure
  • Current CPR certification

 

Duties:

  • Assesses dental condition and patient needs using established dental procedures such as medical history review, dental charting, and period charting; takes patient vital signs
  • Delivers direct dental care to patient to include cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluorides, and related procedures
  • Develops individualized care plans and performs patient education in consultation with a qualified dentist
  • Performs general dental administrative duties such as developing x-rays, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients
  • Documents dental history or primary complaint and relays information to the dentist
  • Participates in clinical and laboratory studies; mentors dental students
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Auto Quality Inspector

Madison, MS

Our client is looking for an Auto Quality Inspector with a minimum of one year prior work experience in a complex manufacturing or military environment performing machining, assembly, and/or inspection work. The successful candidate must have normal color vision, a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, and it is preferred that applicants have prior experience using inspection techniques and nondestructive testing techniques.

Job Duties

  • Perform visual and physical inspection of functional measuring equipment characteristics on component parts
  • Use of functional measuring equipment
  • Responsible for the quality of the product going to the next operation
  • Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints and specifications
  • Identify non-conformances found during the inspection of component parts, and properly document such non-conformances in the DR System
  • Ability to read and complete inspection ledger, inspection check sheet, operation sheet, move ticket and discrepancy report (DR) and other paperwork as necessary to comply with Quality Systems
  • Responsible for notifying supervisors when work received does not meet the specifications required (Must be able to create inspection technique sheets)
  • Responsible for cleaning work area and returning all tools to their proper location at the end of the shift
  • Proper use of all tools and gauges necessary to complete and to verify that all work performed has been completed to specifications as required
  • Other duties as required within the job classification
